Moerane was supported by the MMC for Basic Services Bheki Ntsele and other senior officials that gave a detailed update of work done to date to restore power supply. “Following a site inspection held on Thursday, 1 April 2021, the municipality has secured two service providers to restore the substation and replace damaged cables,” Moerane said. According to the municipality’s technicians, appointed service providers need a minimum of six weeks to complete all the work.
