VANDERBIJLPARK.- VUT Ladies FC and NWU Vaal Ladies FC are looking for promotion to the National Women League.
These institutions women soccer teams campaign in the Sasol Women League. The league started two weeks ago with NWU Vaal showing a clear desire to campaign in the National Women League next season. VUT Ladies FC started their league campaign low when they lost their first game. However, VUT Ladies FC Head Coach, Mvula Tshabalala is convinced that his side will turned the table. He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that some of his key players had to watch from the stand.
“Look, we missed few of our key players because we are still waiting for their cards. Despite our challenges we had to honour our fixture. But having said this I think those who were playing have done a great job despite the defeat. We are going to regroup. It is still early days to panic because we have just played two games only. I have signed some new exciting players who show a lot of potential,” said Tshabalala.
