Information leads to the arrest of two suspects dealing in Dagga

Suspects were charged with dealing in Dagga and will appear before the court of law soon.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Two suspects aged 29 and 31 years have been arrested and detained at the Boipatong police station after they were found in possession of Dagga worth R120 00.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Gertrude Makhale reports that police launched a search for the suspects after receiving a tip-off.

“Members of the Vanderbijlpark Task Team received a tip-off, included in the information was the make of the car the suspects dealing in dagga were using around the Vanderbijlpark and Bophelong policing precinct.

“While conducting a search the Task Team members came across the described vehicle, stopped and searched the vehicle and subsequently discovered bags full of dagga.”

Makhale states that Members immediately arrested the suspects and discovered that the suspects are not from South Africa. Suspects were charged with dealing in Dagga and will appear before the court of law soon.
