Marriage is a Ministry

"Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life."

Marriage is a Ministry; It needs Vision and a Mission, You must pray for your Marriage and make sure it grows. Marriage it is not a ring and it is not a Wedding but Marriage is a communion, When marriage is a communion you build each other but when it’s a competition you destroy each other. (1 Corinthians 11:3) In a marriage relationship, there is authority from Christ to husband, and from husband to wife.

The authority of Christ is the authority of God. Marriage is not a place to “stand up for your rights.” Marriage is a decision to serve the other.

Marriage is not a destination but is a Journey, You have already won 50% of your battles without fighting, if Marriage is a communion. Marriage is for a couple, Marriage takes two, Marriage requires a couple to engage emotionally, intellectually and spiritually in fighting for their union.

A couple that can talk things out is a couple that can conquer any challenge. Marriage is not a place to “stand up for your rights.” Marriage is a decision to serve the other, Marriage is strong enough to contain strong sexual drives and provide for a balanced and fulfilling sexual life in a world of sexual disorder.

But Jesus said, “Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace.” Marriage is a Ministry, God bless your Marriage.
