CARLETONVILLE.- ER24 reports that a 34-year-old man was left seriously injured this morning after he was struck by a light motor vehicle.
The incident happened at the Veldman and Gesiena intersection in Carletonville.
” ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 07h16 to find a man lying in the middle of the street. The car that struck the man was parked on the side of the road.
“The man was assessed and found to have sustained serious injuries. Medics treated the patient and thereafter transported him to Carletonville Provincial Hospital for further care.”
The driver of the light motor vehicle escaped injury. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
