Womens Month celebrations continue

"Women should not normalise abuse and men should support and take care of women."

VANDERBIJLPARK. This year, 2021, the Women’s Month celebrations were marked in a different style when the women from all walks of life, in the likes of Indibano Victim Empowerment Project and Vanderbijlpark Trauma Counseling Empowerment Centre came under one roof joining the Jamela Rehabilitation Center to celebrate in Mullerstuin Plots, today.

The Manager of Indibano, Lawrence Sibanda, expressed that women are strong and said that women should challenge any form of Gender Based Violence ( GBV). ” Women should not normalise abuse and men should support and take care of women.”

Pulane Moloi from Trauma Center had this to say: “Women should conquer every problem they are faced with especially GBV.”

Wrapping up  in his speech, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jamela Rehabilitation Center, George Sibanda could not hide his excitement and appreciat appreciated the work done by the women.
