DEDEUR.- A missing Fourways mans body was on Tuesday recovered at an open space in Dedeur, a day after he was reported missing to the police.
Gauteng police said the body of a Chinese national known as Zhuang Xiaohe from Fourways was found by a passer-by at an open space in Dedeur.
In a statement police spokesperson Captain Mpho Tshetlhane said Xiaohe sustained stab wounds in the upper body.
It is alleged that the 48-year-old man was last seen at Monte Casino on the evening of Monday, 27 September 2021 wearing a black long sleeves sweater, blue denim pants and black shoes.
“The motive behind the incident is not yet known.”
A case of murder has been opened at Dedeur police station.
Police investigation are continuing.
