10 year jail sentence for murderer

"He started stabbing the deceased multiple times on the upper body and he died on the scene."

SEDIBENG. – The Sebokeng Magistrate Court recently sentenced Mutloang Sylvester Mokoena (35) to 10 years imprisonment for murder recently.

Mokoena was found guilty on a case of murder he committed last year, 2020. It is said that the deceased was walking with his girlfriend at Small Farm, Selborne Street about 23:00 when they met Mokoena and he started stabbing the deceased multiple times on the upper body and he died on the scene.

Police Spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi said, “The Management believe this sentence will send a strong message to other people who think of committing similar offense and commends the investigating officer for working tirelessly to ensure that the suspects pay for their unlawful act.”
