The EWC Child and Youth Care Centres are partly funded (77 %) by Government Subsidies. We are highly dependent on sponsors for goods in kind, to be able to cut on monthly expenses. Our utility bills make up about 25 – 30 % of our subsidized income.

These three houses serve the community as a satellite home for children that were removed from their parents. These homes are registered as Satellite homes of the EWC of AFM of SA (Known as AFM Welfare). The vat number is 4770120691 and in the name of EWC of AFM of SA. Our BEEE certification stands on at 81.64%. and are renewed yearly.
EWC are a registered NPO and PBO (Public Benefit organisation) which allows sponsors and donors to apply for rebate on their Tax assessment. A Section 18 receipt is available from the AFM Executive Welfare council. You as an individual or company can either donate money that reflects into the Bank account of the 3 homes itself – or you can buy products – give us a copy of the delivery note or Invoice and thereafter we can issue you a Section 18 certificate with whom you can apply for tax refund.

We have more information on the organisation profile, structure, and constitution.
