Wheelchair bound women helped

"This tool will definitely change my life."

BOPHELONG. – Two wheelchair bound women were blessed with the brand new wheelchairs from Batobatsi Funetal Service and Lekoa FM recently. The first recipient, Mammei Lezet Mokwena ( 51) of Boiketlong informal settlement was over the moon at the time her name was called to receive the wheelchair. With tears of joy rolling down her cheeks , she said said that it has never come to her mind that God has touched the heart of someone.

“This tool will definitely change my life.”

Annah Masingili (76), from Ditaleng squatter camp used to walk through the help of crutches but with the help of the two organizations she said that at least she will be able to attend church and visit relatives. Stephen Thekiao, Manager of the Batobatse Funeral Service said the initial project was started by Lekoa FM who approached them for assistance.
