Bike and three-car collision leaves one dead

This morning, a man in his 30s was killed when his motorbike and three other vehicles collided on the N12 westbound before the Camaro offramp in Alberton.
ER24 and other services arrived at 07h08 to find two light motor vehicles in the left lane, one on its side.

According to ER24 the motorbike was found in the right lane, while an SUV was found on the opposite side of the highway.
On closer inspection, medics found the body of the biker, a man in his 30s, lying against the centre barriers.

“Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to his numerous injuries. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.”
Traffic was heavily affected in the area due to the collision.”
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
