Sedibeng College students protest

"Year in and year out we are fighting for registrations and accommodation for all students."

VANDERBIJLPARK. The students of the Sedibeng College fo Further Education and Training (FET), Vanderbijlpark campus have said that every year they are forced to start the academic year on wrong foot.

This was during a protest led by the Economic Freedom Fighters Students Command (EFFSC) which took place in a form of a march to the college to disrupt the registrations on 24 and 25 January.

“Year in and year out we are fighting for registrations and accommodation for all students.”

The protest was led by the Chairperson of the EFF’s Student Commander, Karabo Motlokotsi who said that they were disappointed by the College Management for ignoring their plight.

” Our attempts to engage with the Management hit the rock. We failed to reach a consensus and this has frustrated the students who decided to disrupt the registration,” he said.
