SHARPEVILLE. – The decomposed human remains that were discovered by Pastor Peter Moswa at an open veld in Tshepiso last week are that of a Zimbabwean national Arminro Francisco.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela confirmed that the body was positively identified by his brothers who were located near the shacks in Phase 4.

“The deceased is said to have disappeared in January after he allegedly stole money from his employer in Tshepiso Phase 5.”

Maxambela said that a missing person’s reported was never filed with the police.

“At the moment, it is not known whether the deceased committed suicide or was killed as a rope was found hanging from a tree where the body was discovered.

An Inquest case docket has been opened for investigation.
