Three Zim nationals arrested for theft

SEDIBENG. – Three Zimbabwean nationals will appear in court soon after being arrested by the Barrage police and charged with theft last week.

It is said that a truck was hijacked during the day and the suspects took the head of the truck and left the trailer on N1, later around 16:00 they came back with to take the trailer where they left it.

Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Nombulelo Mohlakoana said that while busy trying to connect the trailer to the truck the members of the SAPS highway patrol approached them, and they started to flee the scene. “The members called for backup and other members started to arrive and they arrested the driver. A farmer and his employees nearby helped the police to arrest the other two suspects.”

All three suspects are Zimbabwean nationals.
