VEREENIGING. – The incident happened on Tuesday morning.

ER24 paramedics alongside Midvaal Fire arrived at the scene shortly before 11:30 and found a vehicle ablaze.

“The fire department managed to extinguish the fire, but unfortunately, the driver, who was found inside the vehicle, sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. The truck driver sustained no injuries.”

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not known to paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
