Evaton Police Station burgled

In one of the offices the window was broken.

EVATON.- Criminals seem to have lost their respect for the law, this was evident when the Evaton police station was burgled last week.

It is  said that on the day police members locked all the windows and the doors to their administration offices for the long Easter weekend but when they arrived for duty on Monday, 19 April they discovered water flowing on the floor and upon entering the offices they noticed that the ceiling on the passage and in two offices was damaged.

Police Spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi said that in one of the offices the window was broken.

“The electrical cables were ripped out as well as plugs and taps. The case docket is opened and the police are appealing to anyone that might any information to assist with the investigating to come forward or they can contact 0860010111 or 016 596 1044.”
