Two female suspects arrested in Roshnee for dagga possession

The Sedibeng Cluster Task Team recently clamped down on drug dealers alleged to be selling drugs to school kids in Roshnee.

DE DEUR. – The team acted on a tip off about a person selling drugs to kids around the Roshnee area.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Maria Letsele says, “On arrival at the said premises the owner of the house was not available. Police found two female employees and the house was raided in their presence.”

Letsele confirms that police discovered dagga worth an undisclosed amount together with equipment used for selling on the premises.

“A case of possession of dagga was opened for further investigation and the two female employees were arrested and will make an appearance at the Vereeniging Magistrate Court soon.”

Letsele urges members of the community to continue working with the police and giving out information regarding illegal activities taking place in De Deur policing precinct.
