Man killed after bike and car collide in Sonlandpark

A man in his 40s was killed in when a light motor vehicle and motorbike collided.

VEREENIGING. – The incident happened on Skippie Botha Road in Sonlandpark on Monday morning.

According to ER24,  paramedics arrived on the scene to find the car and motorbike on the side of the road.

“The biker, a man in his 40s, was found lying approximately 20 metres away from his bike.Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained several injuries.

“CPR and advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated in an effort to stabilise the patient. Unfortunately, after some time, the man succumbed to his injuries.”

The driver of the car escaped without injury. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
