Matshego and Sigudla also represented Gauteng Hockey Team
Carel De Wet High School learners, Faith Sigudla and Rethabile Matshego, were part of the learners who represented Gauteng at the National Hockey Tournament held in Nelspruit, Mbombela recently.
SEDIBENG.- These 14-year-old learners told Sedibeng Ster Sport that participating in the national school hockey tournament was the best experience of their lives. They expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of the Gauteng team.
Sedibeng Ster Sport last week ran another story of Reitumetse Motupeng from Suiderlig High School who was also part of the Gauteng team that participated in this National school hockey tournament under the headline: Motupeng represents Sedibeng at National School’s Hockey tournament.
“We are very honoured to be part of the team and to be among the learners who were very fortunate to participate at that level. This was the highest level we have participated in since we started playing hockey and we hope more is still coming for us,” they concluded.
