
EVATON.- Members of the Sedibeng District SAPSĀ recovered suspected stolen livestock, an unlicensed firearm and house breaking implements in Evaton following a complaint of stolen livestock. The incident happened on Monday.

According to a report, police activated K9 sniffer dogs to assist in tracking down the stolen livestock immediately after receiving the complaint.
The K9 dogs led the SAPS members to a shack in Evaton.

“22 sheep and 16 goats were found in a garage. Police also recovered a 9mm pistol with the serial number filed off and house breaking implements.”
Police say further investigations are underway.
