Coaches attend ELFA’s D-license Coaching Course

Emfuleni Local Football Association's (ELFA) Technical Development Officer Paul Motsepe hailed the D-license Coaching Course as a great success.

SEDIBENG.- This SAFA D-license Coaching Course which was conducted by former Bafana Bafana player and Banyana Banyana Coach, Augustine Makalakalane and Maestro Mofokeng came to an end at Rand Water in Vereeniging over the weekend.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Motsepe said he was overwhelmed by the attendance. Motsepe said he was also encouraged to see female coaches also attending the D-license Coaching Course.

“I must say the coaching course went well as it was planned, and as ELFA we want to thank our constrictors for a job well done. I have no doubt those coaches learned a lot from these two legends about coaching. I was happy to see coaches come in big numbers from this region and also from outside this region. This shows how much they want to improve their coaching skills and knowledge. As ELFA we continue empowering our coaches especially development coaches in our area”, he said.

In addition Motsepe said more than 150 kids attended grassroots program as part of D-license Coaching Course program. PSL referee Victor Hlungwane also formed part of this coaching course, teaching coaches about the laws of the game. Motsepe said the association also wishes to thank Randwater for sponsoring this event.
