SEDIBENG. – Mabala passed away recently after being ill.

The Funeral Service took place over the weekend at Gospel Fire Ministries in De Deur.

Police Spokesperson Sergeant Gertrude Makhale says, ” Men and women in blue from in and around the district attended the service in numbers to bid farewell to one of their own.”

The funeral service was graced by the Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Faith Mazibuko together with Lieutenant General Michael Mohlala.

Speaking during the service, Sedibeng District Commissioner Major General Zodwa Molefe paid her respects and comforted the family.

“Thank you to the family for sharing Colonel Mabala with the SAPS for 30 years.He was a hard working man in blue,” She said.

Mabala was laid to rest at the Unitas Park cemetery.
