VANDERBIJLPARK – This time, he dropped a track named 30 million, which drives the streets of Vaal insane.
Releasing the song recently, the popular rapper gave his followers a reason to smile again.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, real name Masedi Mokhotu said he is ready to release his entire album in November.
“I have produced an album named ‘Bring Back Milano’ and I haven’t dropped it yet. The reason is that I’m still marketing it and waiting for the perfect season to drop, which at this point it’s November,” he said.
The 30-year-old explained why he choose to give his audience a taste by release the extract song from his album.
“The song 30 million is an extract of a project drawn from the album. What I was hoping to achieve when I released it, I wanted to give people an idea on how the album will sound like,” he added.
The song has been trending on social media after the recent botched CIT robbery in Boitumelo.
Many went to several music stores to download the song after some linked the title of the song to what happened.
“I must put in record that some bad situations work wonders for different people. The song received a crazy reception as people wanted to listen and understand the link of my song to the recent activities,” he said.
Explaining the concept behind the slugs and the messaging behind his songs, the popular Watseba Kea O rata hit maker said the culture promoted in the Vaal directs his narrative.
“We all know Vaal as a second Italy because of the fashion sense and lifestyle lived in this region. The way people speak, do things and live their daily lives is what inspires my music. It’s easy to wake up and create an album by merely observing the lifestyle in these streets.
The singer said the full project is set to drop next month and his followers will be hit by a storm of vibrant and different tunes, back-to-back.
“I am ready to launch the album. We [together with my team] are working on dope visuals to give the album the respect it does. I’ve been working hard on the album since lockdown and I think its ready now,” he said.
