Evaton SAPS searches Qedilizwe learners

Playing cards,cough syrups,knives, cigarettes and lighters were amongst the items found on pupils by the Evaton pupils during a search at the Qedilizwe Secondary School on Tuesday morning.

EVATON.- The Evaton Social Crime Prevention Coordinator, Crime prevention members, Vispol members, Youth desk members, POWA and the Department of Social Development conducted a search at the school, unannounced, following a call by the school management.

Police Spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi said that the learners were warned to stop their bad behaviour and not to bring any dangerous weapons to school.

“The school management appreciated the response we have given to their call,” Msibi said.
