
VANDERBIJLPARK.- The-41-year old Pillay told Sedibeng Ster Sport that her ambition is to soon work for one of the leading PSL teams as a Physio, and believes that she is ready to work for big teams in South Africa lsuch as Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns to mention but few.

In a heart-to-heart interview with Sedibeng Ster Sport, Pillay said that her experience is enough to work for big teams in the South African football. Pillay was at one stage involved with South African Commonwealth Games team and the Paralympics team to mention a few among her experiences. She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that she has worked with high profile athletes in the country and helped some of them to recover from injuries. Former Kaizer Chiefs dreadlock midfielder, Simphiwe Tshabalala is one of the high profile players that Pillay used to help to recover from injuries apart from his club’s Physio. Some of the teams that she was once involved with in the the lower division include Free State Stars.
Many athletes who worked with Pillay said the difference between her and other Physio’s is that, “she is very passionate about her job”.

“I think with my experience I can work for any PSL club because it is my wish to get involved at the highest level of football. This is not just a job to me but my life, joy, happiness and passion. This is a calling for me and I enjoy each and every moment of what I’m doing, to work with athletes and make them better on and off the field,” said Pillay.
