Will Real Hearts FC repeat VUT FC’s feat in the Nedbank Cup?

Real Hearts FC continued where they left off last season when they were crowned the Sedibeng Safa Sedibeng Nedbank Cup overall winners over the weekend.

EVATON.- This preliminary Nedbank Cup semi and finals took place at Qedilizwe ground in Evaton over the weekend. Real Hearts FC beat Meyerton Rangers FC 8-7 on sudden death (panalities) after the two teams locked 2-2 in 90 minutes.

This was confirmed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by the Regional Leagues Coordinator, Mandla Dipanyekga. The four teams that were involved in this preliminary Nedbank Cup semifinal were Palm Springs United FC, Young Pirates, Meyerton Rangers and Real Hearts FC. The team will be representing Sedibeng at the Inter Regional Nedbank Cup play-offs. Real Hearts FC from Heidelberg, were crowned the Safa Sedibeng SAB League Champions for 2021/2022 last season before the Arbitrator declared the SAB League null and void as the league did not comply with SAFA’s uniform rule of, “no card, no play”.
