Messages of support for matriculants for their final exams continue to pour in

Messages of support from various Department of Education stakeholders continue to pour in as matriculants starts with their final examinations.

SEDIBENG– One of the Non Profit Organization (NPO) focusing on the governing of the education sector, the National Association of School Governing Bodies (NASGB), issued out a message to matric pupils amid their final examination for 2022.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, NASGB chairperson Gabriel Maboe said their Sedibeng committee takes wishes all Sedibeng East District with 3697 learner’s and the Sedibeng West with 7000 in total the whole region registered (10 697) full time Grade 12 for class of 2022 all the best in writing their exams.

“We must say this was very challenging year for our education sector. The good news is that we have seen the official migration of the ECDs from the department of social development to the department of Basic Education,” said Maboe.

He further added that the association believe and support the government for this well thought decision for realignment.

“Now the next expectations are that the department must have the necessary support with the both human and the financial (resources investment) to re built a solid foundation for best outcome,” he said.
