SEBOKENG.- This is great news for the development of football in Sedibeng, for a local amateur team to form a partnership with a European based football club.
Celta Vigo has satellite teams in South Africa.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Themba Dlamini said this was long overdue to launch this collaboration between them and Celta Vigo FC. He said this is a great thing to come not only for his team but for the development of football in Sedibeng. Dlamini told Sedibeng Ster Sport that this news need to be celebrated because this will open opportunities for the local footballers.
”As Celta Vigo Development FC we are very excited to be part of the Spanish giants. This means, our boys will get the opportunity to go overseas at a young age because of this partnership. I’m very excited and humbled at the same time because this relationship was long overdue and finally it has happened. This will improve the standard of the development of football in Sedibeng to say the least,” he concluded.
