Summerboyz dishes stoko to fans!

Summerboyz has done it again.

VANDERBIJLPARK – And this time, the twosome has released an amapiano song titled Stocko.

The duo known for many amapiano songs making radio plays on national radio and TV, said they have been hard at work cooking a song for December.

Sizwe Lethoba (24) and Jabulani Matebula (27) born and bred in Bophelong, have been flying the Vaal flag high in the music scenes and have continued to shine.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Lethoba said “we’ve worked on Stoko for the whole year of 2021 making sure what we deliver is the best sound to ever come from this region”.

The duo added that the song is from their Stadianeng EP project which is set to see the light soon.

Explaining the song in details, Matebula shared what it’s all about and where does the angle manifest from.

“The song is basically about an ordinary young groove night in the Vaal nightlife scenes. A group of guys are having a night out at the party and they are balling (having a good time) and the only thing their circle does not have is girls (stocko). The idea stem from that, hence the sentence “rona rei patlela stocko” which translates for [all we want is stocko],” he said.

“It’s nothing but a usual amapiano song about nightlife, lifestyle, money and girls which is more of what we witness in the Vaal every weekend,” he added.

Speaking on the album’s reception from their fans, Lethoba said their efforts have turned out to something awesome.

“We’ve worked so hard to complete it and there were challenges on it but managed to complete the project with excitement, there was no way our people wouldn’t like it,” he said.

Matebula added on the same words that “we getting so much love, even got compliments from Namibian people & our social media is buzzing with a lot of messages from the people”.

Matebula said they made a TikTok challenge and the feedback is amazing.

Asked if there are any projects in the pipeline, Lethoba said they have features lined up for December and a whole-lot of visuals to release.

“We have few features already lined up to drop soon before the end of the year plus music video’s & dropping our next project next year,” he said.
