SEDIBENG – Mabote is a residence of Ratanda and his wanted for common robbery.

The 30-year-old is alleged to have robbed a female complainant in Heidelberg recently.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Heidelberg police spokeswoman Constable Doris Nkosi said a woman opened a case of robbery against the wanted suspect.

“Police are asking the community to help them in trying to locate suspect aged 30 years, real name is Jan Mabote. Mabote resides in Ratanda. He is wanted in connection with a case of common robbery case that happened in Heidelberg, where it is alleged, he approached the complainant while she was on her way and robbed her,” said the spokesperson.

Nkosi said anyone with the information of Mabote’s whereabouts or see he can call the police.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact the investigating officer Detective Constable Malahle 016 3410 400,” she said.
