Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, a resident who didn’t want to be named, fearing being targeted said they disturbed the group of man from burning the first guy.

“We saw a van entering our plot, going straight to the mountain top. My brother went to see what was happening. When the victim was being prepared to be torched, we sent dogs to the culprits,” said the 28-year-old.

The eyewitness said the van left some of the men with the body of the victim.

“Just when we thought this was over, other men entered with a grey Ford Figo with two more victims. We watched from afar as we tried to contact cops and the media. While the suspects dropped the victims, they both tried to run away and suspects chased them and came back with one, that’s when they tried to burn them,” said the eyewitness.
