VEREENIGING. – The Crown Modeling Agency held a successful Miss Elegant beauty pageant at Michael House Church in Vereeniging over the weekend.

Nnini Melamu, the event organiser said that the pageant was held to empower young women and show them that they can achieve whatever they set their minds to.

Melamu said: “We held the event to give young women that assurance that they are the pillars of the world and that they can achieve whatever they set their minds to. This was also to give them confidence to enter major beauty competitions.”

Nompumelelo Radebe was crowned Miss Elegant 2022, Lerato Mudupe came out in first place and Lebohang Maduna was crowned second princess. Numerous prizes were shared amongst those who won in their different categories.

“Many more events are to follow in the next year as our company aims to make better people out of the youth of this region,” Melamu said.
