SEDIBENG.- There were celebration galore all over the world, including here in Sedibeng on Sunday, when Argentina stamped their name on the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup since the 80’s.

This was after they beat the defending champions France  4-2 in what was described as the ever. The game was decided on penalties after a 2-2 stalemate between Argentina and France with Argentina superstar Lionel Messi leading his team to victory.

The local soccer fans took the streets of Sedibeng after the final whistle chanting “Messi, Messi, Messi. Hails king Messi, hails. This this was Messi final world cup as he announced his retirement after his team reached the final.
