ORANGE FARM.- A 23-year-old man is behind bars following the murder of his girlfriend in Extension 9, Orange Farm on Friday.

Police Spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi said that the police attended a murder scene at Ext 9 and upon their arrival they found the body of the deceased, a young woman aged 19 years, facing up in the yard with a stab wound on the left side of the chest.

“The murder weapon was found on the scene and the deceased was also declared on the scene. A man aged 23  was immediately arrested and will soon appear in the magistrate court.”
