SEBOKENG – KCA Radio personality, Nonkululelo Mtshali will be hosting her 2nd annual Charity Birthday Celebration which is set to take place at Bee Gee Cafe, on 05 February. Mtshali started the initiative last year, where she managed to collect over 80 pairs of Black School Shoes.

She said that the event is about celebrating her birthday while giving back to charity.

“Shoes are symbolic of pride and give confidence to young learners knowing that they can go to school in comfort, as opposed to barefoot or not proper shoes. When a learner has proper shoes to wear to school they focus more on their studies then how they look. I’m just trying to change the world, with one child at a time. We donate to underprivileged children that do not have proper or no school shoes at all. We distribute to orphanage Homes and underprivileged families,” she added.

This year, Mtshali is hoping to collect over 100 Black School Shoes which she says is possible with the help of the community.
