The task team is responsible for cleaning the Boipatong township including roads, schools, clinics and the houses of the elderly people.

BOIPATONG.- The Itireleng Task Team started the year on a positive note when Cape Gate donated uniform in a form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to them on Monday.

The hand-over took place at the Boipatong Park next to Lebohang Secondary School. This is not the first time Cape Gate has donated something to Itireleng Task Team. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Parks Mofokeng from Itireleng Task Team said that this was the best way to start the year. He said that this was a moral booster for them to start the year on a high note. Mofokeng said  Itireleng Task team and Cape Gate relationship has come a long way and is still going strong.

“I want to take this opportunity on behalf of Itireleng Task Team to thank the Cape Gate management for this donation. They been there for us since we started and I have no doubt that our relationship will go a long way. They have been helpful to us for a long time now and we want to thank them for making things easier for us.”

“We made a commitment to ourselves to transform our area without demanding a cent from our community or government. We do this because were care about our township and no one forced us or pays us to do this. When we started it was a few of us but today the team is growing thanks to Cape Gate,” said Mofokeng.
