FREE STATE – In recent weeks, Ramokgopa visited a number of power stations among the 14 biggest power utilities in the country as part of his plan to end the energy crisis.
Ramokgopa’s tour seeks to engage with management, workers, and unions.
The minister and his entourage of senior officials completed their first leg of the tour on Monday, visiting the Kriel and Duvha Power Station in Mpumalanga. Kusile and Kendal power stations followed on Tuesday and Tutuka and Camden stations on Wednesday.
Today, March 23, the Minister will grace Lethabo station before closing his tour on a travel to the Western Cape to visit the Ankerlig open cycle gas turbine and Koeberg power station on Friday.
