SEBOKENG. – Police in Sebokeng are investigating an inquest case docket following the discovery of a decomposed body in an open veld near Fochville Road.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela reports that police responded to a complaint of a body found in an open veld on March 23.
“On arrival at the scene, police found the body of a man facing downwards with both his hands and feet tied with a rope.”
Maxambela states that the hands of the deceased were tied from the back.
“The body is decomposed beyond recognition and dressed up in grey overalls with yellow stripes.”
Police urge anyone from the community who may have a missing family member to come to Sebokeng SAPS and help in identifying the deceased.
Maxambela said no arrest has been made and investigations are ongoing.
