VEREENIGING.- The Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) Executive Mayor, Sipho Radebe together with MMC for Finance Acting as MMC for Basic Services, Hassan Makola as well as the Ward Councillor paid a visit to the road rehabilitation project in Mario Milani Drive in Vereeniging recently.

The road was, amongst other things, damaged by sewer spillages because of the malfunctioning of Pump Station 10. The ELM said that now that Pump Station 10, 9, and 8 through section 63 intervention are successfully attended to and renewed, instead of just patchwork, it has decided to mill and reseal the road.

“Soon, the municipality be attending to Golf Road where pumps 8 and 9 are situated.”
