BOIPATONG. –  Slowly but for sure, the Sedibeng area (Vaal Triangle) is regaining its former glory nationally in the arts and sports.

Boipatong-based Actor and Director, Bongani Dhlamini and his crew recently finished filming his maiden film called ‘Amanga’.  The entire movie was filmed in Boipatong and shooting finished recently, it will be aired on Mzansi Channel.

Dhlamini has appeared in many productions such as Skeem Saam, Muvhango, Ufelani, and Mzansi Greed to mention but a few. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Dhlamini said that ‘Amanga’ will teach viewers that all things based on lies shall be exposed one day, and someone will pay the price for telling lies.

“In the movie, an old man, Mpungeni, told his own son a lie that made his son kill/ murder innocent people,” Dhlamini said.

He thanked those he said were dynamic and talented actors, made up mostly of locals.

“This is the most capable crew I have ever encountered (and worked with), and they were special in ‘delivering this baby’, people of Sedibeng must just wait and see their own product on Mzansi Channel,” said Dhlamini.
