SEDIBENG.-  The World Cup trophy will touch Sedibeng grounds when Netball South Africa embarks on World Cup Trophy Tour on 30 May.

This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport, by Sedibeng Netball Federation Marketing Manager, Refilwe Mokoka.

Mokoka told Sedibeng Ster Sport that the Netball World Cup Trophy Tour will take place at the following venues, Sicelo Stadium in Meyerton, via TK Garage, Zone 3 Stop Sign, Skosana Stop sign in Adams Road, Zone 11 Post Office to Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14, Sebokeng.

Mokoka said the tour is part of Netball South Africa to market and promote Netball World Cup which is scheduled to take place in Cape Town from 28 July – 7 August.

“This is great news for netball in Sedibeng to have the world cup trophy right on our doorsteps. We are looking forward to making this tour a great success as Sedibeng Netball Federation. Look, for the past month, we have been playing awareness games to promote the Netball World Cup spirit. I’m happy that our efforts have been recognized for the fact that the tour will be coming to our area.” said Mokoka.
