EVATON.- It’s official Celta Vigo Development FC and Vaal Inter FC will represent Emfuleni in the Safa Sedibeng Regional Play-offs.
This was after the two teams finished first and second respectively during the Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) Champ of Champs games held at Qedilizwe Primary School on Saturday and Sunday.
Celta Vigo FC was crowned the overall winners after they managed to win two games and draw one with Vaal Inter FC finishing as the runners-up. Towns Stars FC finished third with Vaal Ideas FC finished at the bottom of the log. This Champ of Champs games were played in a point system with Celta Vigo FC and finished at the summit of the log with 7 points.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, the ELFA Competitions Convener, Oupa Tladinyane hailed the games as a success. Tladinyane congratulated both Celta Vigo FC and Vaal Inter FC as the two teams to represent Emfuleni at Regional Play-offs.
The two teams will compete against Lesedi and Midvaal Local Football Association teams for promotion to Safa Sedibeng SAB League. Tladinyane wished these two teams all the best saying he has no doubt that they will make Emfuleni proud.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank our deputy chairman and our secretary for their support to ensure these champ of champ Play-offs were successful. Not forgetting the referees for their hard work on the day,” said Tladinyane.
