“We are growing a safer Gauteng”: Community Safety
Citizens are encouraged to work hand in hand with the Wardens and other Law Enforcement Agencies by reporting criminal activities.

SEDIBENG. The Crime Prevention Wardens are still maintaining efforts to combat crime in Gauteng Townships, Informal Settlements, and Hostels (TISH), this was recently revealed by the Gauteng Department of Community Safety.
The department encouraged citizens to work hand in hand with the Wardens and other Law Enforcement Agencies by reporting criminal activities.

“The Crime Prevention Wardens are deployed in hotspot areas as part of targeted crime prevention operations. The interventions contribute to the reduction of serious and violent crimes in Gauteng communities.”

The Wardens have continuous training which includes, firearm competency training, land invasion, crowd control management, and advanced driving.
