Real Hearts has a mountain to climb

They must win both of their games and rely on their opponents to beat each other to give them an advantage for promotion.

SEDIBENG.- Real Hearts FC’s chance of gaining promotion to ABC Motsepe League seems to be a mission impossible. This was after they lost both of their Inter-Regional Play-offs on Saturday against Mike One Stars FC, 2-1, and to Sibiya FC 2-1 over the weekend (Sunday).

This SAFA Gauteng Inter-Regional Play-off takes place at WC Clement Stadium, Reiger Park in Johannesburg. Real Hearts FC can only hope for miracles to happen when they will be playing their next Play-offs fixtures against Wanda United FC and the University of Johannesburg on Sunday.

Real Hearts are representing Sedibeng in this Gauteng Regional Play-offs after being crowned the SAFA Sedibeng SAB League Champions. They are in the B stream alongside Mike One Stars FC, the University Of Pretoria, Sibiya FC, and Wanda United FC.

As things stand, Real Hearts FC must win both of their games and rely on their opponents to beat each other to give them an advantage for promotion. However, it will be a mountain to climb for Real Hearts FC if they entertain any hope of gaining promotion to the ABC Motsepe League, come next season.

If Real Hearts FC doesn’t gain promotion, it will be the second season Sedibeng has failed to promote a club to the ABC Motsepe League after NWU Vaal FC got relegated and Vaal Professional sold their status.
