SASOLBURG – Sasolburg police are urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating the missing 26-year-old, Tinus Nel.

Nel has been reported missing since January 2023 and was last seen in the company of his girlfriend, Wilamien (37).

The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain mysterious, and his loved ones are growing increasingly anxious for his safe return.

Described as a young man with black hair, brown eyes, and standing at an average height, Tinus was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red t-shirt, blue sneakers, and a distinctive blue jacket.

In an emotional plea to the community, Tinus Nel’s family has expressed their heartbreak and worry, urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

The family believes that raising awareness about his case will help in bringing him home safely.

The Sasolburg Police have been working tirelessly to locate Tinus, conducting extensive searches, following up on leads, and interviewing individuals who may have had contact with him on or around the day of his disappearance. However, the lack of substantial information has hindered their efforts in finding the missing man.

As the investigation continues, the Sasolburg police are urging anyone who may have seen or interacted with Tinus Nel or has any knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward immediately.

“Anyone who may have information about the victim’s whereabouts is requested to please contact Detective Constable Maartens on 016 970 1053 or 079 544 2431,” said Sasolburg police spokesperson Sergeant Josephine Rani.
