Netball World Cup begins

The time has arrived for the teams to prove themselves.

SEDIBENG.- The much anticipated Netball World Cup is finally here, and kick-off is in Cape Town today Friday, 28 July.

The Cape Town community is expected to fill the venues to capacity after so much effort to market this prestigious event. The World Cup tour trophy was a great success with Sedibeng hosting the trophy tour in an attempt to create awareness.

See below the fixtures and times of the games:

Stage 1

Friday 28th July

New Zealand v Trinidad & Tobago / Tonga v Fiji (8 am)

Australia v Zimbabwe / Uganda v Singapore (10 am)

South Africa v Wales / Jamaica v Sri Lanka (5 pm)

England v Barbados / Malawi v Scotland (7 pm)

Saturday 29th July

New Zealand v Uganda / Zimbabwe v Fiji (8 am)

Australia v Tonga / Jamaica v Wales (10 am)

Scotland v Barbados / South Africa v Sri Lanka (5 pm)

England v Malawi / Trinidad & Tobago v Singapore (7 pm)

Sunday 30th July
