DA to visit Orange Farm school amid bullying allegations

The oversight will be carried out by DA’s Shadow MEC for Education, Khume Ramulifho MPL, DA MP Tsepo Mhlongo, and Cllr Shakes Chabalala.

ORANGE FARM. – Following allegations of bullying at Refalletse Primary School in Orange Farm, the Democratic Alliance (DA) will on Thursday, 03 August visit the school.

The oversight will be carried out by DA’s Shadow MEC for Education, Khume Ramulifho MPL, DA MP Tsepo Mhlongo, and Cllr Shakes Chabalala.

“During our oversight inspection, we will be engaging with the school management to determine the challenges and what measures have been put in place to address bullying at the school.

“Our learners and teachers deserve to work and be taught in an environment that is conducive to learning and teaching.”

The DA believes that learners should not be deprived of a proper education because of a few individuals who are intent on disrupting the learning and teaching process.
