It’s Sundowns and Chiefs in the MTN 8 second round

Mamelodi Sundowns dominated Kaizer Chiefs in all their meeting last season and it will be interesting to see if Kaizer Chiefs is going to end this.

SEDIBENG.- Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will meet for the second time in a short space of two weeks after these two sides drew in the MTN8 semi-finals.

It will be interesting to see if Kaizer Chiefs can turn the tables after Sundowns beat them 2-1 in the DSTV Premiership League match not long ago. Sundowns booked their place in the MTN8 semi-finals after they beat Moroka Swallows 1-0 with Kaizer Chiefs defeating Cape Town City 2-1 to proceed to the semis.

Mamelodi Sundowns dominated Kaizer Chiefs in all their meeting last season and it will be interesting to see if Kaizer Chiefs is going to end this when they meet in the MTN8 semi-finals. The MTN8 defending champions Orlando Pirates will face Stellenboch in another semi-finals. The fired-up Orlando Pirates booked their place in the semi-finals after they beat Sekhukhune United 5-0.

Pirates seem to be on a cause to defend their title considering their performance against Sekhukhune United.

The date and venue for MTN8 games will be announced at a later stage by the PSL.
