Meeting of Women in Prayer
"There are a lot of us (parents) out there who are struggling with this demon of drugs."
EVATON.- There will always be miracles when you believe in the Lord!
The ‘Women of God in Tears’ members will formally meet in Graceland, Evaton West next Saturday, August 26.
The ‘Women of God in tears’ is a movement that was started by praying women who coincidentally met on social media, Facebook to be exact, and connected while sharing their problems and the word of the Lord.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Lebohang Lebusa, the Director and Founder of the movement said that all the women in the group have children who are drug addicts and that they have been supporting each other during difficult times while praying for their ‘babies’ who are going through much tougher circumstances.
Lebusa had taken her story to social media about her son being an addict, who under the influence of drugs, had a fight with his sister and she retaliated by stabbing him. This apparently led to a huge fight that nearly saw the sister being imprisoned.
“We met because we are facing the same challenge, and I voiced out by putting my story on Facebook that is when I realised that there are a lot of us (parents) out there who are struggling with this demon of drugs, therefore, we are inviting every woman who is going through the same thing that we are going through to come and join us on the day and share their experiences and the word of the Lord,” Lebusa said.
The day will be celebrated under the theme: ‘God trusted us with his seed’.
