Royal Awards on the way

“With these awards, we want to say, we acknowledge your work.”

SEBOKENG. – Two local young people have come up with an amazing idea to reward local artists.

Thabang Lelosa (19) and Kelebogile Leshodi (21) are the founders of the Royal Awards that will be hosted for the first time next year, the date is still to be confirmed.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, the pair said that they are proud to be celebrating the achievements of local artists and more with the aim of also celebrating local talent.

Lelosa is from Beverly Hills and Leshodi is from Zone 16 in Sebokeng, they are both former pupils of Botebo Tsebo Secondary School.

The Awards will be divided into the following categories:

  • Best Hip-Hop Artist
  • Best Piano Artist
  • Best Dance Group
  • Best Dancer
  • Best Influencer
  • Best Production/Producer
  • Artist of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Best Soccer Player
  • Best Actor
  • Best Heritage Group
  • Best Radio Station
